BGB threshold adjustments for Bitget VIP

Bitget is excited to update our BGB threshold for Bitget VIP on January 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM (UTC+8), offering more flexible and personalized services along with exclusive benefits for our VIP users.

The updates are as follows:

• The 30-day daily average BGB holdings threshold will be adjusted every two weeks. The first adjustment will take effect on January 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM (UTC+8), and subsequent adjustments will be made every two weeks. In other words, the new BGB threshold will take effect every other Monday at 9:00 AM (UTC+8).
• The BGB threshold for each level is calculated as: 30-day average daily asset balance (USDT) × BGB holdings adjustment factor ÷ 14-day average daily closing price of BGB (UTC+8).
• For the first adjustment, the BGB holdings adjustment factor will be set at 0.8. This factor may be adjusted based on market demand in the future, with further announcements provided if changes are made.
• The "14-day average daily closing price of BGB (UTC+8)" used in the calculation will follow a T+2 rule. For the first adjustment on January 20, 2025, the price will be based on the 14-day average daily closing price of BGB from January 5 to January 18, 2025 (UTC+8).
• The BGB threshold for each level will be rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Example:

Based on the BGB thresholds for each VIP level on January 16, 2025: The BGB holdings adjustment factor is 0.8, and the 14-day average daily closing price of BGB is 6.435, calculated using data from January 1 to January 14, 2025 (UTC+8). The calculations are as follows:

• VIP1: 30,000 × 0.8 ÷ 6.435 = 3729.60, rounded down to 3729 BGB.
• VIP2: 50,000 × 0.8 ÷ 6.435 = 6216.01, rounded down to 6216 BGB.
• VIP3: 250,000 × 0.8 ÷ 6.435 = 31,080.03, rounded down to 31,080 BGB.
• VIP4: 750,000 × 0.8 ÷ 6.435 = 93,240.09, rounded down to 93,240 BGB.
• VIP5: 2,000,000 × 0.8 ÷ 6.435 = 248,640.25, rounded down to 248,640 BGB.

The first adjustment will take effect on January 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM (UTC+8), which may affect your VIP level. Subsequent adjustments will take effect automatically every two weeks on Monday without additional notice.
