Jupiter DAO Releases “The Next Two Years: DAO Resolutions” Proposal
On April 25th, Jupiter DAO released the "Future Two Years: DAO Resolutions" proposal. The proposal includes plans for the Jupiter team to support the DAO becoming gradually independent over the next two years, including outlining the proposal generation process, transitioning DAO treasury operations control from a 3/5 team signature requirement to 3/5 control by DAO members, legal registration, independent funding mechanisms, and transparent reporting. The DAO will focus on accelerating Jupiter community, product, and ideation growth through proposals and treasury management, while the team will be responsible for product development and business management.
In terms of funding, the Jupiter team will further supplement the DAO treasury with 10 million USDC, and will explore sustainable funding mechanisms over the next two years. After two years, the DAO will receive support from the Litterbox Trust (holding 50% of protocol fees, approximately 32 million JUP). Additionally, Jupiter DAO will activate talent through funding and working groups, emphasizing openness, transparency, and results orientation.
