SEC Approves ETH ETF Options, DOGE ETF in the Works

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved options for spot ETH ETFs offered by major firms like BlackRock and Fidelity. These options allow investors to better manage risk and make informed decisions in different market conditions. This follows a similar approval for Bitcoin ETF options last October, which boosted market activity and price transparency.
With these new approvals, 2025 could bring a wave of crypto-related investment products. ETF options are especially useful for institutional investors and traders who want to bet on or protect against price changes in crypto assets.
In addition, 21Shares has proposed a Dogecoin (DOGE) ETF, with support from the Dogecoin Foundation. This product targets both regular and professional investors looking for unique investment opportunities. Dogecoin is praised for its fast transaction times, low fees, and strong online community. Unlike Bitcoin’s focus on being rare and valuable, Dogecoin is positioned as a practical and engaging digital currency for everyday use.
