Trump signs executive order seeking to cut more federal agencies
Golden Finance reports, according to Jinshi Data, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday aimed at downsizing eight federal agencies. This is part of his action to reduce the size of the US government. The move eliminates non-statutory functions of these entities and reduces other functions deemed "unnecessary" in a White House situation statement. Affected groups include the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, U.S. Agency for Global Media, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Institute of Museum and Library Services Research, Interagency Council on Homelessness, Community Development Financial Institutions Fund, Minority Business Development Agency and Arctic Research Commission.
