Virtuals Launches Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP)
according to official sources, Virtuals Protocol has officially launched the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP), aiming to build a business ecosystem composed of AI agents. This protocol will allow autonomous interaction, collaboration, and transactions between AI agents, forming the so-called "Virtuals Nation".
The ACP framework consists of three core parts: AI agent index registry (similar to a "Yelp" rating system for AI agents), AI agent business interaction system (facilitating collaboration and evaluation between agents), and AI agent currency transaction system (implementing transactions through smart contracts). Currently, Virtuals Protocol has around 17,000 AI agents covering multiple industry sectors.
It is reported that Virtuals Protocol plans to launch two business clusters in the next month: autonomous hedge funds and trading DAO (in collaboration with projects such as aixbt_agent, AIxVC_io) as well as autonomous media companies (in collaboration with luna_virtuals, MusicByVirtuals). Additionally, the project will host a hackathon to encourage developers to build more innovative AI agent business clusters, such as Hollywood agents, sports and entertainment agents, etc.
