UK Treasury Spokesman: No Plans to Introduce Bitcoin Reserves

According to Protos, a spokesperson for the UK Treasury said that ‘volatility makes Bitcoin less appropriate as a reserve asset for the UK, and the UK has no plans to introduce a Bitcoin reserve similar to that of the US.’
