In the tweet, Subu shared tips on how to master the BSC chain from scratch, including on-chain exploration, monitoring, and transactions. He emphasized that in addition to using on-chain exploration tools, one can also leverage other on-chain tools to filter tokens based on market cap, liquidity pool, trading volume, transaction count, and creation time. This provides beginners with comprehensive guidance to help them better understand and interact with various features on the BSC chain.

Original Title: "Mastering BSC Chain from Scanning, Monitoring to Trading"
Original Author: Zibu, Crypto KOL

cz (@cz_binance) started with a hesitant shoutout for $TST, and now he's mentioning his pet dog on Twitter again, showing that he really wants to boost BSC memes. So, how should BSC memes be played? To do a good job, one must first sharpen one's tools. This article will introduce tools that can be used in various participation processes.

1. Scanning

The pump platform on BSC is https://four.meme/, where we can view the coins on the internal exchange on the Board page and apply various filters based on conditions. We can also check the market cap ranking and 24-hour trading volume on the Ranking page.

2. On-chain Tools

In addition to scanning, we can use many on-chain tools to help us filter coins, mainly considering metrics such as market cap/pool, trading volume, transaction count, creation time, etc. The commonly used on-chain tools are as follows:

1. UniversalX

Website: https://universalx.app

UniversalX (@UseUniversalX) is the first official app of Particle Network (@ParticleNtwrk), which seamlessly calls all on-chain assets in a non-custodial manner, without the need for manual bridging or gas management. UniversalX currently supports Solana, BSC, and 13 other mainstream EVM chains. UniversalX also has mobile support, available on both the App Store and Google Play.

On UniversalX's homepage, select BNB Chain, and in the Radar section, you can choose coins from different periods under "New Listing," "Growth," and "Prosperity." The main filtering metrics are market cap, holders, trading volume, and liquidity. For new listings, focus more on "New Listing," for mid-to-long-term holds, focus more on "Growth," and for well-established coins, focus on "Prosperity."

The highlight feature includes four lists: "Trend," "Top Gainers," "Top Losers," and "New Coins." Among them, "Trend," "Top Gainers," and "New Coins" are worth particular attention.

UniversalX also listed the coins on Binance Alpha, which can be viewed either across all chains or only on a specific chain, such as BSC. This feature is even better than what Binance Wallet offers, as Binance Wallet does not allow filtering by chain.

2. debot

Website: https://debot.ai

debot mainly has two sections: "New Listings" and "Hot." The "New Listings" section features coins listed in the last 24 hours, which can be filtered by time period, market cap, trading volume, number of transactions, and other metrics. One of its advantages is the inclusion of the "Number of Wallets" metric.

The "Hot" section filters all listed coins by popularity, using criteria similar to those of the "New Listings" section.

3. gmgn

Website: https://gmgn.ai

gmgn recently added support for the BSC chain and was even referenced by CZ. gmgn's BSC chain mainly features two sections, "New Coins" and "Hot," similar to debot. The "New Coins" section also showcases coins listed within the last 24 hours, with more granular time-based filtering. It also supports security checks, which are quite practical given that some coins on the EVM chain tend to exhibit common traits like lack of source code disclosure, no renouncement, and no liquidity lock during initial listings. Other metrics are common, as shown below

Zero to Hero on BNB Chain: From Chain Scanning, Monitoring to Transactions image 5

The "Hot" section filters all listed coins by popularity, using criteria similar to those of the "New Coins" section.

On the BSC chain, gmgn also designed a "Next Blue Chip" feature, currently without data. When compared with a similar feature on the SOLANA chain, this feature aims to highlight some promising coins for close attention post-listing.

When analyzing the chain, gmgn's "Holders" section has introduced a new feature allowing for a quick view of holder dynamics, average per capita holdings, and the Top 100 average buying price. This is very convenient for rapidly assessing holder demographics. Below each holder's address, there is a progress bar indicating the remaining holdings—a very intuitive and practical function.

4. okx

Website: https://www.okx.com

okx is quite comprehensive, supporting various chains, including the BSC chain. The web version is more feature-rich compared to Web3 wallets, allowing filtering based on time, popularity, most searched, and newest indicators.

5. ave

Website: https://ave.ai

ave is an old tool that has been widely used since the last bull market, supporting multiple chains. It also has a mobile app for on-the-go monitoring. For the BSC chain, it supports four sections: "Hot Search List," "Newly Launched," "Top Gainers," and "Featured List." Each section can be filtered based on different criteria, although some criteria are only filterable and not sortable, depending on personal preference.

On ave, there is a dedicated section for Four.meme's coin, supporting five sections: "Hot Internal Pools," "New Internal Pools," "About to Max Out," "New External Pools," and "Hot External Pools." It is useful for chain scanning, feeling more user-friendly than the official website's scanning tool. Hopefully, other tool providers will catch up soon.

6. Eagle Eye

Website: https://dexscreener.com

Eagle Eye, like ave, is an old tool that supports many chains. Eagle Eye allows filtering based on time frames, trends, TOP trading volume/transactions, yield, new pools, and other indicators. It also enables customization of various filter conditions, with a rich set of indicators overall. I have used Eagle Eye's filtering indicators to analyze years of data and developed numerous strategies.

The advantage of Eagle Eye is its breadth of coverage, but the downside is that its candlestick chart updates are not as fast, lagging a few seconds behind compared to other tools. Their multicharts feature is particularly user-friendly, ideal for monitoring multiple coins. While some tools also offer this feature, none are as convenient as Eagle Eye's, although there is still room for improvement in some aspects.

III. How to Find Smart Money

Monitoring smart money is an effective way to identify early-stage projects and trending coins on the chain. It is more prevalent on Solana, but during this BSC chain's prolonged quiet period in the current bull market, many people around us have not accumulated smart money on the BSC chain. So, how can we find smart money?

One way is to use smart money from the EVM or other chains, such as the ETH chain and BASE chain, to see if this smart money on those chains is active on the BSC chain. If it remains active, it can be used directly. Another way is to utilize existing tools to analyze the appearance of honeypots and identify smart money.

1. debot

Website: https://debot.ai

In debot, enter the address of the coin you want to analyze, then open the 【Transaction Analysis】 at the bottom. We pay attention to the 【Top Holders】 and 【Top Gainers】 sections. The 【Top Holders】 is a list of the top 100 holding addresses, and the 【Top Gainers】 is a list of the top 100 addresses that have gained the most.

2. gmgn

Website: https://gmgn.ai

In gmgn, enter the address of the coin you want to analyze, and pay attention to the bottom part where the 【Traders】 and 【Holders】 sections are.

The 【Traders】 section is a list of the top 100 addresses that have gained the most, categorized into "Smart Money," "KOL/VC," "New Wallet," "Developer," "Whale Wallet," "Phishing Wallet," "Bot Degen." You can sort by metrics such as "Total Profit," "Realized Profit," "Unrealized Profit," etc., to filter smart money that meets your criteria.

The 【Holders】 section is a list of the top 100 holding addresses, categorized into "Smart Money," "KOL/VC," "Blue Chip Holder," "New Wallet," "Developer," "Whale Wallet," "Phishing Wallet," "Bot Degen." You can sort by metrics such as "Capital Injection/Quantity," "Total Profit" to filter smart money that meets the criteria.

Currently, gmgn does not yet support the overall profit situation and historical data analysis for a specific address. Hopefully, gmgn can add this support soon.

3. ave

Website: https://ave.ai

ave also provides analysis for 【Holders】 and 【Top Traders】. The 【Holders】 are a list of the Top 100 holding addresses, further divided into "Smart Money," "DEV," and "Sniper."

【Top Traders】 currently only lists the situation of the Top 15 profitable addresses, with limited data.

4. Eagle

Website: https://dexscreener.com

The Eagle's 【Top Traders】 section lists the top 100 most profitable addresses, which can be sorted by total profit and unrealized profit. The displayed information is limited and not as user-friendly as debot and gmgn.

IV. Monitoring Smart Money

With Smart Money in play, we need to monitor it to be the first to know what these powerful players are up to on-chain. When it comes to monitoring, debot is recommended. debot is currently the most feature-rich and granular monitoring product used. debot's wallet monitoring is divided into two types: wallet behavior monitoring and wallet group behavior monitoring, as shown below.

Zero to Hero on BNB Chain: From Chain Scanning, Monitoring to Transactions image 19

1. Wallet Behavior Monitoring

This monitoring is common to all tools. However, while other tools push all addresses to a single Telegram group, debot's advantage is that it can group addresses and then push them to different Telegram groups based on the grouping, as shown below.

Zero to Hero on BNB Chain: From Chain Scanning, Monitoring to Transactions image 20

This way, monitoring information can be divided into different Telegram groups based on labeling, such as on-chain players, off-chain secondary market players, addresses of special interest, and more. A tool that can classify monitoring information is a good tool. When I used abot for monitoring in the past, to achieve grouped push effects, I had to first label the addresses, then develop secondary distribution based on the labeling after the Telegram group received monitoring messages. Now, with debot, there's no need for secondary development.

2. Wallet Grouping Behavior Monitoring

If we are monitoring a large number of addresses, there is an unavoidable issue: too many push notifications. An excessive amount of messages can overwhelm the human brain and lead to information overload, rendering the monitoring ineffective. To address this issue, my previous strategy was to perform secondary development on the push notifications, setting a condition to only send a notification when the number of transactions from different addresses reaches a certain threshold within a specific time period, for example, if 5 different addresses make a purchase within 30 minutes, then send a notification. I used this strategy for about a year, and the results were very positive as it significantly reduced the number of notifications while still capturing trending coins.

Debot's wallet grouping behavior monitoring perfectly implements the strategy mentioned above, but in a more sophisticated manner with finer metric granularity, as shown in the image. We can monitor buys and sells, set monitoring time windows, transaction amounts, notification frequencies, and market cap thresholds. This feature can fully satisfy various monitoring needs, and I highly recommend it.

3. Grouped Token Transactions and Recent Transactions

After monitoring smart money with Debot, we can view Grouped Token Transactions and Recent Transactions by group in the Group Observation section. Grouped Token Transactions list all the coins transacted by the smart money in this group within a specific time frame, such as the last 24 hours, and can be filtered and sorted by different criteria. This feature is very useful when we have not been actively monitoring the smart money in real-time but want to know which coins the smart money has purchased.

Zero to Hero on BNB Chain: From Chain Scanning, Monitoring to Transactions image 22

Recent Transactions list the transaction records of the smart money in this group, sorted by time.

4. Position Details and Transaction Details

After monitoring smart money with Debot, we can view Position Details and Transaction Details in the Coin's Candlestick Chart section under My Watchlist. Position Details list all smart money data that has transacted this coin and can be sorted and filtered by various criteria, making it easy for us to see which smart money has already entered the market.

Zero to Hero on BNB Chain: From Chain Scanning, Monitoring to Transactions image 23

Transaction Details list all the smart money's transaction records for trading this coin in chronological order, which can be sorted either in ascending or descending order. This feature is very practical as it allows us to identify the earliest buyer from our smart money by sorting in ascending order, with the first transaction being the answer. This functionality is very useful for filtering out the smart money that reacts the quickest to news.

5. Security Check Tool

The EVM Chain has a significant issue with encountering honeypots, so conducting a security check before buying is a necessary operation. The common security check tools are primarily these.

1. goplus

Website: https://gopluslabs.io

goplus is a security check tool that emerged in the last bull market, with investment from Binance Labs. Many tools currently integrate goplus's functionality, which can be used via the web version or a plugin. It also provides a security check API for external use. If you plan to run strategies using scripts, you may consider the API.

2. honeypot.is

Website: https://honeypot.is

honeypot.is was quite popular in the last bull market for its accurate security checks. They also offer an API.

3. tokensniffer

Website: https://tokensniffer.com

tokensniffer is also a well-established security check tool. Due to the numerous scams and variations of honeypots on the EVM, using multiple tools together can help prevent losses due to issues with a single tool.

Six. Trading

The BSC Chain was very popular in the last bull market. Many of the trading tools used at that time have since stopped updating. Fortunately, more trading tools have now emerged. Here are a few currently popular tools recommended here.

1. UniversalX

Website: https://universalx.app

UniversalX is an on-chain CEX that allows trading with balances from all chains. When the account holds USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC, SOL, trading is possible. Currently, it supports regular buying and selling and will add features such as internal transactions, limit orders, etc. UniversalX's advantage lies in being chain-agnostic; once you have a base token, you can trade 15 on-chain coins. This is especially useful when other chains lack coins, and exchanges have withdrawal restrictions. Additionally, UniversalX has very fast order book and transaction speeds, automatically prevents sandwich attacks, and supports mobile devices, making trading on phones convenient.

Furthermore, UniversalX has reduced trading fees for mainstream coins to a thousandth, consistent with CEX, including $AI16Z, $Fartcoin, $ARC, $AIXBT, $TST, among others. With investment from Binance Labs, they are expected to launch their token this year. Trading on UniversalX is akin to interacting with the project, leading to airdrop expectations.

2. debot

Website: https://debot.ai

debot's transactions support the BSC chain and currently support basic buy and sell functions, with plans to add anti-whale functionality in the future. One advantage of trading with debot is that it can display all the current coin's pools, making it the most comprehensive in this regard. This feature makes it convenient for us to choose different pools for trading. debot has a mobile version for quick and easy trading.

3. gmgn

Website: https://gmgn.ai/

gmgn has already added support for the BSC chain and currently supports basic buy and sell functions. The advantage of using gmgn is its convenient data analysis feature, which clearly displays the holders' basic data. gmgn also supports mobile devices.

4. okx

Website: https://www.okx.com

okx is a major platform that supports basic buy and sell functions. Its advantage lies in its multi-platform coverage, supporting web, plugin, and mobile platforms.

5. PinkPunk

Link: https://t.me/PinkPunkTradingBot

PinkPunk is a well-established Telegram bot that supports multiple chains. Its advantage is that besides basic buy and sell functions, it also supports features such as placing orders and sniper trading, with relatively fast execution speed.
