Analyst: If XRP closes above 2.59 USD this week, it may soon reach a new high
Odaily Planet Daily reports that cryptocurrency analyst DonAlt stated in a post on X, if XRP can close above $2.59 on the weekly chart, it may surpass its current high of $3.4, indicating good performance for XRP. DonAlt further mentioned that if XRP closes higher this week, he expects it to soon reach a new historical high. However, if XRP stays below $2.59, he predicts the price will continue to consolidate within the current range.
In addition, the analyst also discussed Bitcoin's prospects and believes that as gold prices rise, the BTC/gold ratio could increase. This might lead investors to view Bitcoin as a safer and more reliable store of value compared to gold especially. He emphasized that considering trends in gold prices; either they fall or Bitcoin rises should cause an increase in the BTC/gold ratio. Despite negative market sentiment, DonAlt believes Bitcoin remains strong at key support levels.
