The wallet of the founder of the meme coin UFD on Solana was hacked, and about $6.6 million in assets were lost
On January 30, Ron Branstetter, the founder of Unicornpartdust (UFD) token, announced through an emergency live broadcast that his Phantom wallet was hacked and about $6.6 million of UFD tokens and Solana were stolen.
Branstetter said he did not sell tokens or abandon the project, but admitted that he failed to transfer the tokens to the cold wallet in time. According to CoinGecko data, UFD is currently trading at $0.132, down 5.1% in the past 24 hours, with a market value of approximately $132.2 million.
