On January 23, the first annual Crypto Awards 2024 ceremony was held in Moscow, dedicated to achievements in the field of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies. The event was held in the format of a gala dinner at the Atmosphere Moscow venue and brought together more than 250 participants, including company representatives, investors and industry experts.
Behind the scenes, our award is already being called the "Oscar of the crypto world," and we are very pleased about that. The award will become annual, and applications for the Crypto Awards 2025 will be accepted in March, said Alexey Zyuzin, the organizer of the Crypto Awards.
The Crypto Awards included 20 nominations covering key areas of the industry. The winners included:
- BitOK is the best AML service.
- BingX is the best crypto exchange for Russian users.
- EMCD is the best P2P service.
- Algoritm is the best full-cycle mining company.
- Vekus Mining Development is the best data center for mining.
- BitCube is the best mining container manufacturer.
- New Level Agency is the best marketing company in the crypto industry.
- GURU BLOCKCHAIN is the best educational project about cryptocurrencies.
- AWX is the best e-currency exchange service.
- Crypton is the best mini-app.
- Marsel Invest is the best telegram channel and crypto community.
- GMT Legal is the best legal company in the crypto industry.
- ENTITIES META is the best NFT -collection.
Representatives of the industry received separate awards. For example, Oleg Polunin was recognized as the best cryptocurrency influencer, and Pixelord was noted as the best digital artist. Olga Tisen won in the nomination "Significant contribution to the development of the crypto industry".
The selection of winners took place in two stages: first, the crypto community chose the finalists in an online vote, and then their achievements were assessed by an expert jury.
The jury included well-known industry representatives, including BLUM co-founder Vladimir Smerkis, Internet ombudsman Dmitry Marinichev, member of the State Duma expert council on blockchain and digital technologies Maria Agranovskaya, director of the Industrial Mining Association Sergey Bezdelov, founder of Private Business Club and the ZELWIN ecosystem Nikolay Shkilev, founder of EXVED Sergey Mendeleev. The assessment was based on the criteria of innovation, benefit to the industry and reputation in the market.
