Reuters: Do Kwon's lawyer said he is not seeking bail for now and is expected to appear in court again on January 8
Do Kwon, co-founder of the cryptocurrency company Terra, pleaded not guilty to fraud charges in a Manhattan federal court hearing. Reuters reported that Do Kwon's lawyer, Andrew Chesley, defended him and said he would not seek bail at this time. As a result, US District Court Judge Robert Lehrburger ordered his detention. When US marshals escorted Do Kwon out of the courtroom, he took a copy of the 79-page indictment with him. He is expected to appear in court again on January 8th.
