Turbo hits $0.010 as Aurora Labs unveils TurboChain and TurboSwap
Aurora Labs, the team behind the Near-based blockchain Aurora (CRYPTO:AURORA), has introduced TurboChain and TurboSwap to expand the ecosystem for the AI-powered meme coin Turbo (CRYPTO:TURBO).
TurboChain, launched in collaboration with Near Protocol (CRYPTO:NEAR), serves as the first AI meme coin blockchain and a dedicated virtual chain for TURBO.
According to Aurora Labs, TurboChain will deliver scalability, fast transactions, and cross-chain compatibility with Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH), Near, and other leading networks.
The platform allows developers to build decentralised applications seamlessly while ensuring interoperability.
“By blending advanced technology with a thriving community-driven approach, TurboChain pushes the boundaries of blockchain innovation and exemplifies the future of AI-powered meme coins,” Aurora Labs stated.
TurboChain will integrate TURBO as its native token, facilitating all transactions and increasing its overall utility.
The token, initially created on Ethereum from a ChatGPT prompt with a $69 budget, will now play a central role within its ecosystem.
Accompanying TurboChain, Aurora Labs launched TurboSwap, a decentralised trading platform.
TurboSwap provides cross-chain liquidity, enabling users to access networks such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Near, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, and TurboChain.
“TurboChain and TurboSwap show the power of Aurora Virtual Chains. They can turn ideas into scalable blockchain ecosystems. With the Turbo Token community, we’re setting a new standard for seamless blockchain innovation and interoperability,” stated Alex Shevchenko, CEO of Aurora Labs, emphasising the platform’s impact.
These launches align with Aurora Labs’ plan to roll out 1,000 interconnected blockchains by 2025 using Aurora Cloud.
Aurora Cloud simplifies blockchain deployment, claiming it requires no technical expertise and offers low costs compared to traditional systems.
Meanwhile, TURBO recently reached an all-time high of $0.014 on December 11 but has since dropped to $0.010, maintaining slight gains in the past 24 hours, per CoinMarketCap.
At the time of reporting, the price of Turbo (TURBO) was $0.009968.
