Giant Bank Announces 2025 Expectations for Bitcoin and Altcoins! One Positive and One Negative Prediction Came!
Sygnum Bank has published a report with its 2025 predictions for Bitcoin and altcoins.
After 2024, which was a good year for Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies, there is very little time left for 2025. While BTC and altcoins are expected to experience a strong bull rally and reach new ATHs in 2025, 2025 predictions have started to come.
At this point, Swiss cryptocurrency bank Sygnum Bank published a report containing its 2025 predictions.
Sygnum Bank stated in its report that it expects institutional inflows to increase in 2025, and said that institutional inflows could push the Bitcoin price up even more.
The bank noted that every $1 billion in net US spot ETF inflows increases the BTC price by 3-6%.
Martin Burgherr, Sygnum's chief customer officer, said in a statement:
“With increasing regulatory clarity in the US and the potential for Bitcoin to be recognized as a central bank reserve asset, 2025 could see a major explosion in institutional Bitcoin participation, pushing the price even higher.”
Outlook Uncertain for Altcoins!
Sygnum analysts are optimistic about the Bitcoin price for 2025, while the outlook for altcoins is uncertain, he said.
At this point, analysts predicted that without supportive US laws, altcoins would lag behind Bitcoin.
Sygnum noted that the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21) and the Stable Payments Act are particularly important for cryptocurrencies.
