STEPN GO, the new version of the move-and-earn game Stepn, has teamed up with sportswear company Adidas to release a co-branded physical running shoe.
According to a press release, the limited edition Ultraboost 5 sneakers will feature the STEPN GO logo and will be available on December 13.
The move from digital collectibles to tangible items that people can wear shows how far the web3 space has come, said STEPN CEO Shiti Manghani.
Only 1200 pairs of the Ultraboost 5 sneakers released in collaboration with Adidas will go on sale, and this entire limited edition will be available first to owners NFT -STEPN and STEPN GO x Adidas Genesis collections. Although holders of the companies' proprietary non-fungible tokens will have priority when purchasing athletic shoes, regular users of the STEPN GO app will also be able to purchase them. To do so, they will need to take part in a competition and lotteries.
The Ultraboost 5 sneakers will go on sale on the MOOAR marketplace, and the raffle will take place from December 13 to 17. Lottery winners will receive their pair of shoes from January 6 to 22, 2025.
