After six months of intensive use of ChatGPT, OpenAI's largest financial client evaluated: effective, but scalability is questionable
BBVA, Spain's second-largest bank, has reported that ChatGPT significantly improves productivity within the bank, leading to a "burst of creativity," but they still have concerns about the scalability and integration capabilities of ChatGPT. Based on initial user reports, productivity in various departments of the bank has indeed improved, with 80% of users stating that ChatGPT Enterprise can help them save more than two hours of work time per week. However, there are still issues with expanding the application of ChatGPT Enterprise. Elena Alfaro, BBVA's global AI application manager, pointed out that integrating ChatGPT into the bank's complex internal systems and databases may pose difficulties.
