IMF: won't assess impact of Trump's economic policy plan until it sees details of it
International Monetary Fund (IMF) spokeswoman Julie Kozack said it was ‘premature’ to speculate on the potential impact of US President-elect Donald Trump's policies, including tax cuts, after seeing the details of his plans, Kozack said at her first regular press conference since the US election on 5 November. Trump's economic plan has yet to take shape, given that he will be inaugurated on 20 January 2025. ‘Much of the exact impact of these policies will depend on the details, and that's why we're going to have to assess them after we see the details,’ Kozack said.
