Craig Wright Teases Bitcoin Scaling Project with TerraNode
- Craig Wright has released his upcoming Bitcoin scaling solution.
- The solution seeks to foster a unified cash system.
- The system will not make anyone a “billionaire.”
Self-proclaimed Bitcoin evangelist Craig Wright has a “vision” for the original cryptocurrency. He envisions a future where Bitcoin powers a borderless electronic cash system instead of catering to “fantasies of fast wealth.”
In Wright’s world, Bitcoin would allow the unbanked population, which he claimed had been shut out of traditional financial systems for not meeting certain requirements, to hold, control, and trade their money “instantly” without middlemen fees or arbitrary limitations.

In an X post on November 3, Wright said the first phase of this vision was already in motion.
Craig Wright’s Bitcoin Scaling Solution
According to the post , Craig Wright’s team has been building a Bitcoin scaling solution for the last “15 years” and is keen to introduce it to the public in the “next decade.”
“After years of groundwork, we’re scaling Bitcoin’s system to a level where it will never hit a limit,” the post read. “This isn’t about waiting until demand forces us to expand. With TerraNode, we’re creating a system designed to scale infinitely, where capacity is not a constraint.”Wright claimed that the system would meet and outpace current blockchain needs by “orders of magnitude” while remaining accessible, affordable, and ready. He said his solution would eliminate fee hikes that price out users amid demand surges.
Noting that the solution’s foundation was in place, Wright asserted that its debut would allow users in any country to leverage Bitcoin as a tool to join the global economy on an equal footing instead of an asset to hoard.
