Kenya's Nairobi Securities Exchange Joins Hedera Council to Accelerate Tokenization Initiative
On November 1, Kenya's main stock exchange, the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), has joined the Hedera Board of Governors to accelerate its tokenization program using the Hedera network. By joining Hedera, the Kenyan exchange becomes the 32nd member of the group that manages the network. As a member of the council, the NSE will run a node and have equal voting rights in the management of Hedera's software and services.Other notable members of the Hedera Council include tech giants Google and IBM, as well as telecom company Deutsche Telekom.
