Activision also revealed additional changes from the weekend beta phase feedback that ran from August 30 to September 9. In the blog post , the developer encouraged players to check when the game would be available in their region and stated that players should pre-load the game to save time.
The team highlighted that Black Ops 6 brought new elements alongside old characters. Players noted that the aim assist feature is weaker at point-blank ranges. They also emphasized that the aim assist gradually strengthens in the short range.
Among the announced changes include an additional 33 weapons and weapon balance. Some changes to the weapon balance include improved pistol and dedicated melee wap speeds.

The developer also stated that there would be an increased weapon butt melee attack speeds. The multiplayer will also include adjustments to swat, bob, and overall weapon motions to improve the point of aim when entering aim-down sights(ADS).
Activision highlighted some improvements on the movement, including an added toggle option for corner slicing. The company also highlighted that the game would have an added option to set the hold time to perform a dive to prone or slide, depending on your settings.
The game includes an intelligent movement option to set the mantle assist angle from tight to medium or wide.

The company stated it had included multiplayer map adjustments, such as an additional cover to make firefights fair and various lighting options. It also highlighted changes in the skyline with expanded cover points around the hot tub at the center of the map.
Activision added that it included multiple cover options throughout the map and adjusted bullet penetration values on the satellite dish panels.
The developer expressed excitement about introducing a head-related transfer function(HRTF) through a universal profile in enhanced headphone mode. It added the mode would be available to all gamers for free. Activision also noted that they had added a setting to disable licensed music on all modes, which would be helpful for content creators on the game.

Some upgrades on the Richochet anti-cheat systems include kernel-level driver detection and monitoring updates. Other updates include teamRICOCHET mitigations live on the game’s multiplayer, including splat and damage shield.
Other updates highlighted in the blog post included adjustments for future weapon damage patch notes, including a new adjustment table.
