Original author: 0xjs, Golden Finance

On October 21, 2024, ETHGlobal announced the top ten winning projects of ETHGlobal San Francisco 2024 on its official Twitter account.

These 10 projects competed and stood out from 223 projects, namely: PumpRoyale, VVLDrizzy, IP Infinity, OmiSwap, HelloACAI, DAOsaster, Chain Waves, BuildBlocks, UniV4Backtester, Betsy.

Here are the ten winning projects:

PumpRoyale

PumpRoyale is a fitness competition Web3 project that uses smart contracts to hold stakes and refunds from participating users, and allocates funds from the loser pool to randomly selected winners who complete a physical exercise.

In PumpRoyale, users around the world can stake any amount of USDC in regularly held global competitions. During the competition, users are randomly prompted to record their completion of a basic fitness activity within 10 minutes of the prompt. Those who successfully complete the physical activity within the specified time will receive their deposit, while those who fail to complete it will lose their deposit, which will form a loser pool. After each competition, the system will randomly select a small number of people who complete the fitness activity and will receive an allocation from the loser pool. This physical challenge is not only relatively simple, but the potential rewards will increase exponentially as the user base grows.

VVLDrizzy

VVLDrizzy, the VVL in the name comes from Viral Video Licensor, which aims to produce, watermark, authorize and protect viral short videos of content creators, so that content creators and media organizations can easily get paid or pay for video content licensing fees, bridging the gap in traditional media organizations in Web3 adoption. VVLDrizzy is supported by Story Protocol and Walrus.

Creators often upload short videos to TikTok and quickly become popular, but the videos are often stolen and re-uploaded without permission by many accounts, and the creators do not make any money from them. With VVLDrizzy, short video creators can easily set their own licensing terms to prevent videos from being stolen without authorization, and make some money.

IP Infinity

IP Infinity is a project that combines digital IP assets with immersive worlds to create interactive gaming experiences and bring NFTs to life.

The whole process starts with users entering their ENS. Their NFTs are processed and classified by AI separately, and then transformed into game objects, such as characters or equipment. Each game object is assigned statistics that reflect the reserve price and its characteristics. These assets are then implemented into a procedurally generated game world built in Unreal Engine, providing an engaging and vibrant environment. A unique feature of the project is the IP database of stories, which allows users to share their NFT worlds and contribute to them with their own unique characters and stories.

OmiSwap

OmiSwap is an innovative platform that uses AI wearables to simplify blockchain interactions through voice-activated commands.

OmiSwap allows users to initiate trades by speaking into their Omi devices, recognizing trigger phrases such as "start trade" and "end trade" to capture user intent. The OmiSwap platform leverages advanced artificial intelligence powered by OpenAI's GPT model to interpret natural language commands. For example, a user can say "I want to send $5 to Rohan on Polygon" and the system will convert it into structured transaction data.

OmiSwap utilizes the Omi AI wearable device, which is part of a larger ecosystem that integrates with smartphones and companion apps. This integration allows users to receive notifications, conduct transactions, and access blockchain functionality directly from the wearable device. The seamless connection between the wearable device and the user's smartphone enhances the overall utility and convenience of the OmiSwap platform.

The OmiSwap system supports multiple blockchain networks, including Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Ethereum. Users can specify the network in voice commands, enabling seamless cross-chain transactions. OmiSwap uses the Coinbase CDP SDK to create and manage wallets for users on different blockchain networks. This integration allows for efficient configuration of wallets, depositing and withdrawing cryptocurrencies into and out of wallets, tracking balances, and trading crypto assets. OmiSwap supports two main types of transactions: transferring cryptocurrencies (ETH or USDC) to other users on the platform, and currency swaps between ETH and USDC on the Base network.

DAOsaster

DAOsaster is a decentralized, autonomous disaster response system built using AI agents, drones, and blockchain.

DAOsaster deploys a network of AI agents (global, regional, and local) that continuously monitor the environment for signs of disasters. After an event is detected, these agents collaborate through a blockchain-based consensus mechanism to confirm the disaster, collect data, and coordinate the response.

DAOsaster includes various components such as AI agents, smart contracts for blockchain interaction, tokenization of AI agents, and a front-end interface for user interaction. Each component is modular and contributes to the overall functionality of a decentralized disaster response system.

The DAOsaster system enhances disaster preparedness and response by: providing a resilient communications network that does not rely on traditional infrastructure; enabling rapid, coordinated responses through autonomous decision-making; ensuring trust and transparency through blockchain technology; and facilitating collaboration between autonomous systems and human responders.

UniV4Backtester

UniV4 Backtester replays UniV3 events (swap, mint, burn) and sees how a hypothetical position performs over time.

UniV4 Backtester takes liquidity events from a specified UniV3 pool and then replays those events (swap, adding liquidity, removing liquidity) in a hypothetical UniV4 pool that may have a specified peg. This setup enables institutional-grade backtesting analysis of how UniV4 pools perform using the exact liquidity events of real CLMM pools, rather than using aggregated (hourly or daily) historical data, which can lead to inaccurate and unrealistic results. Backtester is able to take a hypothetical position and backtest the performance of that position over a specified time window.
