To improve calculations for individual assets and spot PnL data,a new indicator called ''breakeven price'' was introduced in spot trading starting from September 19, 2024, at 10:15:44 AM (UTC+8).
Breakeven price = (initial position size × initial breakeven price + change in position size × price at change) ÷ (initial position size + change in position size).
The breakeven price reflects the price at which users on Bitget will break even on assets acquired through spot trading, Convert, or small balance conversion. The breakeven price calculation starts with the first transaction where the position increases.
The initial breakeven price for all coins is set to zero. The calculation resets once the trading position reaches zero, at which point the breakeven price will also return to zero.
The breakeven price is displayed on both the spot asset page and the spot trading page, replacing the current cost price.
