Aave security module will release a new version of Umbrella, which plans to introduce features such as pledged assets and automatic slashing
Aave founder Stani Kulechov announced on the X platform that the Aave Safety Module (ASM) will soon release a new version called Umbrella. This version will introduce new features such as using Aave aToken as collateral, automatic seizures, per-network collateral, and improved incentive mechanisms. Ultimately, this SM will eliminate the dependence on using AAVE as the supported asset for the SM and bring more "hard" assets into the SM.
