Venezuelan authorities seize and disconnect over 11,000 Bitcoin mining machines

The Venezuelan National Electric Power Department announced a special operation to disconnect all Bitcoin mining farms from the power grid. Due to the government's efforts to reduce the electricity consumption of high-power customers drawing energy from the national power system, authorities have seized over 11,000 Bitcoin mining machines.
