Solana-based Cypher Protocol insider admits to stealing $300,000
An insider of Cypher Protocol, a cryptocurrency trading protocol based on Solana, admitted to stealing $300,000. An anonymous developer named Hoak admitted to taking hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cryptocurrency from Cypher's hacker compensation fund. In a statement, Hoak claimed to have lost the funds through gambling addiction and took responsibility for their actions.
