zkSync will launch zkSync Node Beta version with a simpler setup process and lower hardware requirements
On May 14th, zkSync Developers announced the release of the zkSync Node Beta version, which has a simplified setup process and lower hardware requirements. The zkSync node is a read-only copy of the main node that anyone can run. This version will greatly improve the developer experience, with one-line Docker setup, synchronization with the main node, and running on consumer-grade hardware.
In addition, zkSync Developers are developing a pruning feature to reduce the storage space required for zkSync Node Beta. In the long run, as part of decentralized work, it will allow zkSync Node to act as a sorter and validator.
