The U.S. SEC is seeking public comments on the revised version of BlackRock's proposed spot Ethereum ETF
The U.S. SEC is seeking public comments on the revised version of the spot Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) proposed by BlackRock. BlackRock submitted this ETF in November 2023, aiming to track the performance of Ethereum prices. The SEC postponed its decision on the proposal in January, and on April 19th, Nasdaq made amendments to it. The revised document discussed the creation and redemption process of ETFs. In a document submitted on Tuesday, the U.S. SEC stated: "The Commission issues this notice to solicit comments from interested parties about proposed rule changes (as amended by Amendment No.1)." The SEC said that comments will be posted on its website within 21 days.
