Blockchain research organization Nebra raises $4.5 million in seed funding
Nebra, a research organization for blockchain and zero-knowledge proof, announced that it has raised $4.5 million in seed and seed round financing, led by Nascent and Bankless Ventures. Some angel investors, including Tim Beiko from the Ethereum Foundation, Kartik Talwar from ETHGlobal, Nick White from Celestia, and Sandy Peng and Haichen Shen from Scroll, also participated in this round of financing. Nebra plans to use these funds to advance zero-knowledge proof technology and democratize it, reducing proof settlement costs on Ethereum and other blockchains, thereby creating a so-called new internet shared settlement layer.
