MakerDAO plans to launch the first phase of “Endgame” in the summer, introducing new tokens and conducting SPK token airdrops
Rune Christensen, the founder of MakerDAO, announced on his governance forum that the first phase of the "Endgame" plan will begin in the summer of 2024. This phase will include new tokens, SubDAO, token economics, a new brand, and new user acquisition channels, all aimed at achieving exponential growth in DAI usage through the interaction of these elements. The first phase of "Endgame" will last for one month, during which a new brand will be launched and early user registration will receive additional benefits. The newly launched two tokens, NewStable and NewGovToken, as well as the existing DAI and MKR tokens, will coexist and support new ecosystem features. The new Lockstake Engine (LSE) will be launched later to encourage long-term participation in governance. The first phase will also see the launch of NewBridge, which connects the Ethereum mainnet with major Layer 2 solutions, and the start of Maker's first SubDAO - Spark's airdrop activity. This plan will promote ecosystem growth and activity through providing liquidity mining opportunities for new tokens, reward systems, and community governance structures.
In addition, Christensen also revealed the following three phases of the "Endgame" plan: scaling up, launching NewChain, and the final phase.
