Grass launches Solana-based Layer 2 data rollup, aiming to improve the transparency of AI data sources
Grass announced that it is building a Solana-based Layer 2 data Rollup to solve the transparency problem in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Grass collects network data through its node network, cleans and structures it for use in AI model training, and rewards the contributions of nearly a million participants worldwide. This Layer 2 solution will allow metadata to be recorded each time data is captured to verify the data source, which will be permanently embedded in each dataset, enabling builders to be confident in the source of the data. This initiative is expected to effectively combat data pollution, empower open-source AI, and provide users with visibility into AI models in daily interactions.
To cope with the scale of millions of web page requests per minute, Grass will expand its protocol through Layer 2 and use ZK processors for data validation, providing persistent source clues for all produced datasets.
