Korea National Police Agency asks Interpol to help repatriate Do Kwon
As reported by Newsis, the Korean National Police Agency announced today that it has sent a telegram to the International Criminal Police Organization Secretariat in the name of the Korean National Central Secretariat, stating "We hope that the Secretariat will pay attention and support in order to extradite the subject to Korea." Earlier reports stated that the Montenegrin Court of Appeals rejected the extradition decision of Kwon made by the Podgorica High Court on March 5 last month and sent him back to the original court.It is reported that the Court of Appeals believes that Korea's extradition request was made on March 29 last year, earlier than the US request on April 3.
