PlayDapp: The token migration portal for self-managed PLA holders is scheduled to be launched in March
According to official sources, PlayDapp has released the following updates regarding token migration: 1. For self-hosted PLA holders (non-coordinated CEX PLA holders): The migration portal is scheduled to be launched in March, with the specific date to be announced later. 2. For CEX PLA holders: The team is discussing and attempting to discuss migration methods and procedures with some CEXs in certain cases. Based on these discussions, the migration methods and timelines for each exchange's PLA holders may vary.
In previous news, PlayDapp suffered losses totaling $290 million due to two hacking attacks. PlayDapp stated that as a result of smart contract attacks leading to the issuance of 17.9 billion invalidly minted PLA tokens, they plan to introduce new PDA tokens as replacements. PlayDapp will collaborate with some coordinated CEXs to migrate from PLA to PDA, compensating users holding PLA with PDA based on their current balances at snapshot time for affected users and receiving all token holdings at a ratio of 1:1 based on snapshot time.
