Founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss, donated $4.9 million ($2.45 million each) to the cryptocurrency super PAC Fairshake, hoping to support candidates in the upcoming US election who are favorable to cryptocurrencies.Fairshake is a political action committee supported by Coinbase and a16z, with $73 million in funds, used to oppose anti-cryptocurrency candidates and support cryptocurrency-friendly candidates.
