According to reports from local media, the ruling party and opposition party in South Korea will announce commitments related to cryptocurrency this week and prepare for the upcoming election. The shared commitments of the ruling and opposition parties regarding virtual assets include:
· Considering the issuance, listing, and allowing of Bitcoin spot ETFs;
· Allowing corporate investment in virtual assets in stages; Allowing the first token issuance (ICO) in stages;
· Developing token securities (ST) legislation; developing the "Digital Asset Basic Law" (the second stage of virtual asset legislation).
