Mina Protocol plans to deploy Berkeley upgrade this year
According to an official blog post, L1 blockchain Mina Protocol plans to deploy the Berkeley upgrade this year, which will bring performance enhancements while utilizing Mina's design without affecting scalability or decentralization. With the emergence of ZK fully supported smart contracts on the mainnet, an unlimited number of infrastructure and application improvements become possible. The Berkeley upgrade also includes performance improvements such as reduced slot time and validator optimization.
