Alex Pruden steps down as CEO of Aleo and becomes executive director of the newly formed Aleo Foundation
On December 29th, Alex Pruden, the CEO of programmable privacy network Aleo, officially announced his resignation as CEO and instead will serve as the executive director of the newly established Aleo Foundation.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, on December 21st, programmable privacy network Aleo announced the establishment of the Aleo Foundation. It is reported that the Aleo Foundation will help guide and support the network, with a focus on open-source governance, developer participation, and promotion of zero-knowledge encryption applications. Aleo will also support innovative projects through the initial distribution of 150 million tokens through the foundation. The foundation is an independent non-profit 501c4 organization in Wyoming and will operate independently from the business entity that has developed Aleo so far.
