Sui launches new weather prediction machine to provide data support for more than 1,000 cities around the world
On November 30th, according to an official announcement, Sui recently launched an innovative weather oracle, aimed at providing detailed weather data for developers in over 1,000 cities worldwide, and serving as a unique random number generator for games and betting applications that require reliable random results.
The oracle consists of Sui-based smart contracts and a backend service that retrieves data from the OpenWeather API, and is open to anyone who wants to integrate weather data into their applications. It provides a variety of information including temperature, humidity, and wind speed, which can be used for travel, insurance, agriculture, betting, or gaming, among other smart contracts or applications.
