Klaytn will build a system to support the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), including product development, token issuance, asset storage, and trading. Klaytn will establish a new token standard that includes the necessary functions for asset tokenization. Klaytn will also strengthen important ecosystem elements such as custody, KYC, oracle, and trading platforms, and work with business and legal consulting experts to ensure compliance requirements are met. The Klaytn Foundation will develop a series of RWA applications in the present and future, with a current focus on gold and real estate tokenization. Korea Gold Exchange subsidiary Creder will tokenize physical gold into GPC and conduct on-chain transactions on Klaytn. GPC will be launched on DEX, and users worldwide can purchase and use GPC to earn profits in DeFi protocols. The lending protocol ELYSIA will provide various synthetic products based on RWA, including real estate mortgage bonds, e-commerce accounts receivable, and real estate project financing.
