According to official sources, the TRON mainnet of the TRON Foundation has officially upgraded to version GreatVoyage-v4.7.3 (Chilon) on October 25, 2023, Singapore time. Chilon is a non-mandatory upgrade version that focuses on improving the convenience of TRON network development, faster node startup and initialization speed, and superior network performance. The main highlights of this upgrade include richer gRPC access interfaces, faster node startup and initialization, more stable network connections, and higher network throughput performance.
